Saira Rizwan is a new entrant in the lawn industry in Pakistan. She launched her debut collection this year in collaboration with Jahanzeb Fabrics. The event of her lawn preview was held at her flagship store at Mall 2, Lahore. Her collection was quite eye catching, though it was based on the same floral theme like a lot of other brands yet, there was something different about it. I absolutely loved the way she played with colors and made really boring base colors look so attractive. Her color contrast was very attractive and that is what caught my attention the most. Another thing that made it big for them was Amy Jackson as their brand ambassador.
The prints I personally loved were Mist, Orchid, Sorbet and Green Forest. The one I picked was Orchid actually because I just wanted to pick one from this brand just to test the fabric first. If it makes it to my favorites this year I would definitely buy more and will update you all here on the review of the actual fabric used. I left Mist with a very heavy heart though 😉
Considering Saira Rizwan was a new entry, she definitely made it big by playing with the colors beautifully and the creativity actually did show up in her collection this year. We are hoping she stays in the business and next year comes back with an even better collection and doesn’t repeat the same theme in the upcoming year because we are officially tired of these floral prints. There is a request to all the designers following the same standard theme for their collection every year to please play more with colors like Saira Rizwan did this time and make it different from the rest so that we can buy more of each brand 😉
That’s about it for Saira Rizwan Spring/Summer collection in collaboration with Jahanzeb Fabrics. I have a feeling the fabric is also going to be amazing and comfortable to wear. A big round of applause for the designer, her team and Jahanzeb fabrics for bringing us variety this year!
Here is a preview of her collection for you!
