A diverticulitis occurs when small, bulging pouches in your digestive tract which is become infected and inflamed. It is a swelling of an abnormal pouch of the intestinal wall. Milk and cheeses: try to avoid whole milk, non-dairy coffee and whipped cream. Don’t eat butter, margarine, cream cheese and cottage cheese

Acidic foods: try to avoid acidic foods like citrus fruits like lemon, tomatoes.

Fried foods: try to avoid fried foods like fats foods, fried chicken, processed foods and fried tacos. Don’t deep frying, you can bake or boil.

Smoking: try to avoid avoided because it can affect the gastric mucosa.
