Are you like me and have acne prone skin?  Do you generally keep an eye out for the next product to clear your skin?  Stop your search and try using Baking Soda for Acne Skin instead. Really, it is a great solution for acne. Aside from that, you can as well expect it to be extremely cheap particularly when compared to other products accessible in the market. Using baking soda to treat your acne problems is as well more inexpensive if you compare it to visiting professional dermatologists.

It’s quick, CHEAP, and painless.  Did I MENTION CHEAP?…..

Baking soda for acne skin is one of the best homemade acne treatments because it’s so cheap and effective.  All you need are too readily available ingredients that will cost you next to nothing and they’re great for controlling breakouts.Actually, it is a great solution for acne skin. Aside from that, you can as well expect it to be very cheap particularly when compared to other products available in the market. Using baking soda to treat your acne problems is also cheaper if you compare it to visiting professional dermatologists. Please take a look at my blog about Natural Beauty Tips and imagine how good you’ll feel in 3 days if you didn’t have to worry about acne again.

Using Baking Soda for Scars

There are those who say that baking soda can lessen the amount of scars. Even though I have not seen this result in my case, some people do swear by this method.

Face Mask

Baking soda for acne skin treatment is pretty basic but produces excellent results. Most individuals combine the powder with water to make a paste. The paste is then placed on the skin for fifteen minutes. This makes the skin look fresh and cleans off dirt. This should be done before going to bed, about 4 times each week.

How to Use Baking Soda on Face Everyday

To use baking soda first mix it with water. You need to make a paste as baking soda on its own can be also harsh. Go by these instructions and you’ll be fine.

  • Prepare the paste. Mix 2 parts of water with 1 part of baking soda, so use two times as much water as baking soda. Make sure it’s not very thick or thin.
  • Let the water stay on your face. Baking soda for acne skin works better when your face is wet.
  • Make sure your skin is clean. Wash it with mild, preferably herbal face wash.
  • Dip your fingertips into the paste and massage it on your face with small, circular motions. Make sure you focus on any problems areas.
  • Wait for 5 to 10 minutes and wash your face with water.

Here’s something you need to bear in mind. Even if you are anxious to get rid of your acne, start out gradually. Baking soda for acne skin can irritate your skin if it’s too sensitive. Start with once or two times a week and see how your skin reacts to it. Later on you can use it more often. You can as well mix baking powder with a bit of neem oil or tea tree oil to make it more potent. Both of these oils are anti-bacterial and anti-septic.

Baking Soda as a Scrub

Baking soda scrub clears the buildup by penetrating deep into the skin, which aids treat pimples, blackheads and acne. Mix 2 tablespoons each of ground brown sugar and baking soda in 1/4 cup lemon juice. Apply this mixture on a clean face and scrub gradually for a few minutes with your fingers. Let it stay for 8 to 10 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water. Use it on a regular basis until you observe the results.

How to make Baking Soda Acne Cream

In fact, it is an accepted fact that the best baking soda for acne skin treatment starts at home. Baking Soda Acne Cream is a home-made remedy for the sufferers. It is easy to make and you require the following steps:

You will need to have the following ingredients: Baking soda, honey, two mixing bowls, water (clean), apple and cucumber.
#1Firsttakes 2 teaspoons of clean water and 1 teaspoon of the baking soda in the first bowl and mix them well. If the mixture seems to think you should add some water and if it is too fluid add more baking soda.
#2 Cut the apple and put it into the second mixing bowl. Mash the apple pieces until they are a paste, make sure you mash it accurately and that no big pieces are left. Take the apple paste and mix it in the first bowl with filtered water and baking soda.
#3 Grind a cucumber and add it to the previously made mixture. Now mix it until they are all mixed well together.
#4 Take one teaspoon of honey and add it to the mixture. Mix it until everything is mixed together and put the bowl in to the refrigerator. Leave the bowl in for an hour or two and your baking soda for acne skin mixture will be ready for use.

How to Use the Baking Soda Cream?

The final mixture is known as the baking soda acne cream. It is used as a home remedy to treat acne. To use the Cream first wash you face with a mild soap to clear out any dirt or oil. This would confirm that your ingredients enter deep into the skin and benefit you in every way. Apply the cream equally all over your face. Do not rub it on your face. Leave it for about 5 to 15 minutes. Then wash it off with plain water.

Precautions While Using Baking Soda

A patch test should be carried out before using baking soda for acne skin. If it causes a stinging or itching sensation, rinse it off rapidly.

  • Baking soda results in dryness of the skin. Therefore, use a moisturizer after its application.
  • Avoid rubbing it actively on the skin.
  • If you are already taking any skin treatment, seek advice from your dermatologist prior to using baking soda.

Using these remedies is cost efficient and practical, but compared to medications that doctors or skin experts recommend these remedies might take a longer time to show results. You need to apply these remedies on a regular basis for them to have the effect you desire.

Make sure that you only use natural products since chemically-prepared skin care products have ingredients that are not good for your skin. I extremely recommend that whatever skin care products you are using now, throw it out in the trash because it is causing more harm than good. They can cause Cosmetic acne unlike baking soda. It is natural, healthy, and good for your skin and it is cheap too. Find more advice on how to treat acne naturally at Natural Health News learning about home remedies for acne.
