These are the solid, grainy growths, which often occur on the balls or heels of the feet. These are the areas where more pressure is exerted. In addition to this, pressure can also leads to the growth of plantar warts inward, underneath the skin.

How Is Plantar Warts Treated?

As mentioned earlier, most warts needs no medical aid and heal within a year or two. Though, for recurrent or constant warts, medical aid is advice.

  • Salicylic acid.
  • Cryotherapy.

For some, surgical options are the only cure.
