- Beautiful color selection
- The shades look very nice
- Great variety to create soft neutral to dramatic smokey looks
- Great size for the price
What I don’t like about URBAN DECAY NAKED 2 PALETTE?
- Pitiful pigmentation
- Colors don’t show at all
- Poor blending
- Time consuming application
- Colors look dirty when you try to blend them together for a transition effect
- Look muddy and make the eye look dirty
- Very dry shades
My thoughts on URBAN DECAY NAKED 2 PALETTE
URBAN DECAY NAKED 2 – AN EPIC FAIL!
This might be a great palette for everyday use for beginners but I absolutely HATED it. This palette never attracted me even when I was not working professionally. My instructor absolutely hated it for professional makeup because the eyeshades are so muddy. The more you try to blend them the more they get muddy and make the eye look dirty. The shimmery shades are nice but would NEVER show on dark skin. This palette would only work on fair skin tones so, for wheatish complexions and darker skin tones this palette is an epic fail. I never had it in my collection and I never will. I used it yesterday a client with darker skin because that’s all I had at that time. Had to put in extra effort and still the application turned out to be muddy! *SUPER ANNOYED*
