Paleo diet is based on emulating the diet of hunter gatherer ancestors. It include those food which are unprocessed which are look naturally. They belied that eating that foods will protect them from heart disease, obesity and diabetes.

Some Foods Which Should Not To Eat When You Are On Paleo Diet:

  • Grains include breads, wheat, barley and pasta
  • Legumes like beans and lentils
  • Vegetable oils like corn oil,soybean oil and sunflower oil
  • Dairy foods which have low fat
  • Sugar and high fructose corn syrup: avoid fruit juice, candies, ice cream and soft drinks.

Some Foods Which You Can Eat when You Are On Paleo Diet

  • Salt and spices: rosemary, sea salt, garlic, turmeric and himalayan salt
  • Eggs: choose omega-3 enriched eggs
  • Meats: you can eat pork, beef and lamb
  • Fish and Seafood: you can eat shellfish, salmon and trout
  • Vegetables: kale, onions, carrots, broccoli and tomatoes
  • Tubers: sweet potatoes, yams, turnips yams
  • Seeds and nuts: sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds
  • Fruits: blueberries, strawberries avocados, oranges, pears, bananas and apple
  • Oils and healthy fats: olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil and lard

Following are given two paleo diet recipes

Greek Chicken Breast Kebabs

Every person like to eat kebab because it is tasty and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • 1 spoon of fresh lemon juice
  • 2 spoons of olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 8 skewers wooden or metal
  • 4-6 chicken ounce cutlets
  • 2 spoons of dried oregano

Preparation:

If you are using wooden skewers then soak in water for at least 1 hour.
Mix lemon juice with oregano oil and also garlic in jar. Now shake this mixture well. Pour chicken and mix well. Put that in refrigerate for 2 hours.

Thread chicken on skewers. Broil or grill then at medium heat for 20 minutes,

Apple Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • ¼ tablespoon of sea salt
  • 1 medium apple, grated or chopped
  •  1 teaspoon of celery seed
  • 2 table spoon of raw hone
  • 1 large celery stalk, chopped
  • ¼ cup of olive oil
  • ½ green chopped cabbage
  • 1 medium juice of lemon
  • 1 medium bell pepper chopped

Preparation:

  • Toss the celery, bell pepper, apple and cabbage in a large bowl
  • Take smaller bowl and mix remaining ingredients
  • Drizzle the coleslaw and then toss to coat.

One Week Paloe Diet Plan

Monday:

Breakfast: vegetables and eggs which should fried in coconut oil and any fruit
Lunch: handful of nuts and chicken salad with olive oil
Dinner: burgers which should fries in butter with vegetables and salsa

Tuesday:

Breakfast: eggs and bacon with any one fruit
Lunch: burgers which make previous night
Dinner: salmon which should be fried in butter with vegetables

Wednesday:

Breakfast: salmon with vegetables which is left pervious night
Lunch: sandwich with a lettuce leaf with fresh vegetables and meat
Dinner: eat some berries and ground beef stir fry with some vegetables.

Thursday:

Breakfast: fruit and eggs
Lunch:a handful nuts and stir fry which you eat pervious night
Dinner: fry pork with some vegetables.

Friday:

Breakfast: vegetables and eggs which should fried in coconut oil
Lunch: handful of nuts and chicken salad with olive oil
Dinner: sweet potatoes and steak with vegetables.

Saturday:

Breakfast: eggs and bacon with any fruit
Lunch: remaining steak with vegetables
Dinner: baked salmon with avocado and vegetables.

Sunday:

Breakfast: baked salmon which you eat last night
Lunch: fresh vegetables and sandwich in a lettuce leaf
Dinner: chicken wing grilled with salsa and vegetables.
